Cancellation, Refund & Return Policy

The following statement discloses the Cancellation, Refund and Return Policy of The Family Garden Parenting Resource Center. (“The Family Garden”) for The Family Garden’s customers (the “Customer”). By using The Family Garden’s services, you are deemed to consent to our Cancellation, Refund and Return practices. If you do not consent to these practices, you should immediately discontinue use of our Products and Services (the “Products” and “Services,” respectively).

Cancellation Policy

It is very rare that The Family Garden will cancel a class or a service.  On occasion, due to an emergency, instructor illness or weather, we will have a cancellation.  In these instances, we will do our best to contact all pre-registered Customers via email or phone to notify them of the cancellation.  Any fees paid will be refunded and the Service will be rescheduled at a later date.

Our regularly scheduled classes and programs (purchased in packages or individually) are available for drop-in.  Drop-in Customers may occasionally arrive for a class or program which has been cancelled and for which we were unable to provide notice.  In these instances no fees will be charged and the Customer may attend the next scheduled Service session.

Certain workshops, class series and seminars may require pre-registration and advance payment of fees.  In the event that one of these pre-paid and pre-registered workshops, class series or seminars is cancelled, we will do our best to contact all pre-registered Customers via email or phone to notify them of the cancellation.  Any fees paid will be refunded and the Service will be rescheduled at a later date.

 No Show Policy

In the event that a Customer has pre-paid for a workshop, class or seminar and they cannot attend, no fees will be refunded for the missed session or program.

Once the stated cancellation date is past for a pre-paid and pre-registered workshop, class or seminar, the Customer is responsible for attending and will not receive a refund under any circumstances.  Customers will not receive partial refunds for missed sessions or programs in a Service series.

Returned Check Policy

The Family Garden may occasionally accept a check from a Customer as payment for Services.  There is a $25.00 fee for a returned check. After 2 returned checks for non-payment, cash or credit/debit cards will be required for all future transactions.  The Family Garden may turn returned checks over to a Collection Agency after 90 days of non-payment.

Refund & Return Policy

There is no refund available on Services rendered.

If, for any reason, you are unsatisfied with Services or are unable to utilize pre-paid Services, please contact us directly to discuss your options at info@family-garden.org.

There is no refund given on purchases of Program Materials or Products.  If any Program Materials or Products are defective, a replacement will be issued upon return of the defective item.

Gift Certificates Policy

All of our gift certificates state a dollar amount which can be applied to any Services we offer (unless exclusions are stated on the certificate).  Customers that choose to either purchase a gift certificate for themselves or others fall under this Policy.  While there is no time limit to use the gift certificates, The Family Garden’s Service fees and pricing may change at any time.

Gift Certificates are Not Refundable, Replaceable or Redeemable for cash.
