Breastfeeding Foundations
Getting the right start to breastfeeding can be imperative to a successful and enjoyable breastfeeding journey. This class offers the need-to-know breastfeeding information as well as comprehensive coverage of breast anatomy, nipple evaluation, positioning and latch-on, evaluating feedings, sore nipples, engorgement, nipple confusion and much more. In addition, I will help you formulate a revisable Breastfeeding Plan that’s just right for you and your family. Before having our own children, few of us have had much experience with breastfeeding – either watching babies’ breastfeed or even just talking about it. This class will take the mystery out of this important way you can care for your baby and make your first experience breastfeeding your baby a welcomed one. Please join me for a workshop full of information and anticipation. I look forward to meeting both you and your partner in your 3rd trimester.

Breastfeeding Bunch
Please join this small group of moms and babies to share your breastfeeding journey and other ways you care for your new baby. Each meeting a new breastfeeding topic will be discussed, you will have the opportunity to ask your own breastfeeding questions, and there will be time to share parenting joys and challenges with other moms. In addition, a baby scale will be available to check your baby’s weight trends or do feeding test weights. We will formulate or revise your personalized Breastfeeding Plan. The goal of the Breastfeeding Bunch is to help create an inviting circle of support and camaraderie for you and help meet your breastfeeding goals. I look forward to sharing this time with you and your baby.
