Dad’s Parenting Group
This one’s for the guys! Gather with other dads to discuss all parenting and family life issues that are important to you. This group is facilitated by Lammert Bottema, a parent educator with 35 years experience. He is also a husband, father and grandfather and looks forward to sharing his wisdom and experience with other fathers.

Newborn Care Class – Surviving and Thriving!
You’ve spent months eating right, exercising, preparing for the birth, and relishing in the first days of your baby’s arrival.  You finally get to bring your sweet little one home! Now what???? Oops!  Did you forget to read about that part? No worries!  Just attend our class in your third trimester or even in your first weeks home, and we’ll send you home with essential newborn care skills and parenting strategies to help everyone in your family survive and thrive!  Our approach to the first three months of life (what many of us call the 4th trimester) is a gentle and natural one.  Topics covered in this class include newborn care essentials – diapering, bathing, and wearing your baby, as well as post-partum care tips for new parents.  We’ll discuss infant behavior, sleep and feeding – they’re all related!  In addition, we’ll give you practical and need-to-know tips for creating a safe and healthy nursery and baby-friendly home.  You will come away feeling empowered and eager for your first weeks as new parents.  And when you find yourself exhausted and up with a fussy baby and you just can’t seem to remember the tools we taught, you can refer back to the newborn care booklet we’ve created especially for this class.

Sacred Motherhood – A Seasonal Ceremony
Motherhood is a series of Sacred Transitions. Honor the Seasons; Honor Motherhood
In this monthly ceremony, we honor our own unique stages, the many changes, grief, delight, hopes and intentions of our path in mothering. Pregnant, nursing, parenting mamas and grandmothers are invited to be honored and celebrated.
Offered the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 12:00-2:00 p.m. Please pre-register as space is limited. (Child care available)

Cost:$10 drop-in, $9 with 5 punch card, $8 with 10 punch card

Mothers and More Topic Nights 
These talks are free and open to the public! Come gather with a group of local moms and participate in these talks and discussion times.
May 6th topic: Spring Clean and Swap
Back by popular demand!! Get started or finish up your spring cleaning as you reduce, reuse, and recycle. Bring in a box of stuff that you would otherwise sell or donate to trade with other members instead. You are welcome to take home whatever doesn’t go or we can haul it off to Goodwill. Questions? About Mothers & More:  Mothers and More is a non-profit mom’s group, with members throughout Boulder County. Our mission is to support the “whole woman” through a variety of sub-groups and events: Playgroups, Gourmet Group, Book Club, Topic Nights, Seasoned Moms (moms with school-aged kids), Social Nights, and Craft Nights. Our members have kids of various ages (ranging from newborn to high school). We are stay-at-home moms, part-time paid working moms, and full-time paid working moms and many things in between. New! Parents With Infants Group
For postpartum families with newborns up through 9 months old.This is a warm, therapeutic group facilitated by a licensed psychotherapist, for parents who are seeking emotional support,camaraderie, and guidance on infant and self care after the birth of a baby.  Drop-ins are always welcome.

Love and Logic: Early Childhood Parenting Made Fun®
Join Deborah Cooper M.A. for this wonderful parenting class from the Love and Logic Institute designed for parents of children through age six.  Love and Logic is a common-sense approach that provides educators and parents with easy to learn skills that create respect, responsibility and good decision making in youth.
